Food Box Project 2020
WE foundation in association with Metropolis Healthcare launched and executed the Food Box Project for Covid Warriors (doctors and healthcare workers). These boxes were distributed among 6000+ doctors and other health workers across 100+ hospitals and municipal corporations in Mumbai and Pune as well as for Covid-19 patients. This activity was a CSR Initiative by WE Foundation and Metropolis healthcare.
The Food Box Project is currently ongoing in Delhi, Chennai, Nashik, Nagpur and Bengaluru.
Healthcare Heroes Awards 2021
Saluting the spirit of patient care, WE Foundation in association with Metropolis Healthcare launched Healthcare Heroes Awards 2021, a CSR Initiative that recognizes and honours doctors, institutions, healthcare workers and municipal officers who have made a difference during the pandemic and brought hope to humanity.
The award focusses on recognition of efforts by healthcare heroes and COVID warriors in the country. Since the corona virus outbreak, healthcare professionals have not only faced the gratification of healing patients and saving their lives but also lost many battles along the way. Everyday the healthcare workers are putting in all their efforts to save the nation by cutting themselves off their families and loved ones. The sacrifice made by these frontline warriors has paved the way to Healthcare Heroes Awards, 2021.

Selfless Service Award recognizes a doctor whose life, encompass the true spirit of being a medical professional. The doctors who helped in treating poor & underprivileged patients during COVID-19 pandemic can apply for the category
The Healthcare Pinnacle Award
The Healthcare Pinnacle Award recognizes the doctors who have contributed immensely to their area of specialisation by bringing change in the treatment, development or introduction of new technology in treatment and patient care
The White Knight Award
The White Knight Award recognizes the doctors who have achieved medical breakthrough that has impacted patient lives positively
The Nightingale Award
The Nightingale Award recognizes the healthcare frontline officers who have gone beyond the call of duty for optimum patient care and management
The Legacy Award
The Legacy Award recognizes hospitals that has made patient care as utmost priority and consistently demonstrated patient care services in their organization
Municipal Excellence Award
Municipal Excellence Award recognizes Municipal corporations which have taken several initiatives during COVID-19 pandemic to prevent the spread & helping patients who were tested positive
Pride in Profession Award
Pride in Profession Award recognizes municipality officers & municipal health commissioners who have worked selflessly to ensure public safety during COVID-19 pandemic
Owing to the current pandemic situation, the awards event will be held virtually in the month of May 2021.
